Justin’s Flying

Having always wanted to fly I’ve trained for my microlight pilot’s licence.

I started back in 2008 training on a flexwing at Chiltern Park. However in 2009 my instructor quit, not due to my poor flying I should add, and I joined the Light Sport Flying Club  based at Wycombe Air Park, under the excellent instruction of Steve Pike (School Owner and CFI) and Nick Morrison (AFI).

My first Eurostar lesson was on 05/09/2009 and I’m very proud to say that I passed my GST on 04/09/2010. So a day under 1 year to complete my course.

I guess that marks the end of the training journal. So future entries will be more to record interesting flights and places I visit. Might not record them all from now on, but we’ll see......
